The Full Jerrycan is a metal container of water left by unknown persons. Useful, but unfortunately, the can is not a perfect water container, and some contamination has seeped into the liquid within; you'll need to find a way of purifying this water before it can be used. Uses

• Combine with Water Purifying Tablets Water Purifying Tablets for 2-3 Water Ration Water Ration.
  • This can only be done in your home. Rations are placed in your inventory (or your chest, if you don't have enough space).
  • Not usable when the Water Purifier Water Purifier is built.
• Use with the Water Purifier Water Purifier building to add 1-3 Water Ration Water Ration to the Well.
  • This is the NOT recommended use of the Jerrycan unless the Water Filter Water Filter is built.
  • You will get 4-9 Water Ration Water Ration when the Water Filter Water Filter is built.
• Creating a Jerrycan Gun Jerrycan Gun (ready). (Though this is usually not a good use for a Jerrycan.) This requires:

Trivia

• The term 'Jerrycan' comes from the origin of the object in Germany during the late 1930's and through World War II. 'Jerry' was the derogatory term used to refer to German soldiers by the British; during WWII, when they began taking and using the superior-made Wehrmachtskanister to carry fuel or water instead of their own inferior product, 'Jerry can' or 'Jerry jug' was the term used to refer to them. • By the current color scheme used for real-life jerrycans by NATO, these are/were canisters intended for unleaded gasoline. Makes you wonder what we're drinking!
