How does the shaman get selected?

In each new town the shaman get selected on Day 2. and each time the current shaman dies the next day a new shaman will be selected as the new shaman. this also means each town can only have one shaman at all times. It is 100% random for now, we tried to find any kind of connection to who may get selected (twice after having the first shaman suicide) according to activity, first to log in on previous day or current day, lowest and highest activity, hero or resident, all of this had nothing to do with who got selected a new shaman. here is the RP that will be shown in the gazette.
