Hey I just saw that. I'm bilingual french/english, so any translation you need on this website just ask me. Here,s a correct translation in my words (and a bit of dictionary) of what I can understand. Some words are missing. things like if, as, for in english that should be there in french. But that's normal since it's a MORSE CODE transmission. anyways, here you go with my translation:

Staff, Trench N12, Our resupply was hit, the passage is held by the ennemy, Impossible to take back the sector, Hold your position for as long as possible, God keep you.

The first 2 words (État-Major) are a rank in the army...I'm not sure which one...I tried to find it using translationw ebsites...not sure.. I might say General staff....does that sound like a high rank to you?
