One slight problem, theres anecdotal evidence supporting a night time search penalty to scavenging making results time dependant. Also the game engine is entirely the same as the french version the only differences are translation and whether certain items and buildings are available. And the french version DOES have night time penalties. Discordance 17:44, 27 September 2011 (PDT)

  • Thanks for the note, might worth looking into, a complication at cost of 4 more tables. I don't expect anybody to bother too much logging that, anyway. Found most of the items at night last time contrary to almost empty auto-search session during the day, so I guess I still need to notice. Any clue on exact time boundaries? Or is it determined by just lighting and colouration dimmed seen in the map window, figures? I'll keep them separated for now until it's clear about the penalty. It also makes auto-search results unreliable to account now. --KlarkMorrigan 00:29, 28 September 2011 (PDT)
    • There is a chance night time search penalties are off for us, but i'd say its more likely they are on can't say 100% either way though which makes things difficult. Its a time window as far as i know, you can offset it with lamps and torches. Discordance 05:38, 28 September 2011 (PDT)
      • Now I remember seeing flashlights and flares on Twinpedia. If season 4 doesn't officially introduce that feature in a month, it should be safe to keep recording until it's clear if we have it or not, anyway. If not, then day times can just be merged with what they have at the time. --KlarkMorrigan 06:15, 28 September 2011 (PDT)

The day spans for 12 hours (surprise surprise): 7:00-19:00. --KlarkMorrigan 14:30, 7 October 2011 (PDT)

I have moved the results to a spreadsheet with a few other projects for convenience. Would be hard to track all those on the wiki. I've merged day and night results as we don't have the night time penalty, apparently. Didn't include drunk condition yet: I can't see it being tested any time soon. --KlarkMorrigan 05:21, 3 February 2012 (PST)
