Generally, it's a bad idea to use the water purifying tablets - Jerrycans will yield many more rations if you purify them using the Water Purifier, a building that can be constructed after the Pump has been completed.
Blurb
When added to water, these disinfectant capsules make water safe to drink. These were previously used for cleaning toilets. You start to imagine how the water is going to taste afterwards... (NOTE: The yield of this product is much lower than that of the Industrial Purifier).

- Use on Full Jerrycan to receive 3-15 Water Rations. (Not recommended; use Water Purifier to gain 5 to 9 Water Rations instead.)
