Clash of the Titans was an event organised by Workshop in Season 4 pitting 6 towns of 40 all of the same hero class against each other. It was the first community event in the history of Die2Nite officially supported by MotionTwin and intended to be continued (likely because it stimulates the players to buy hero days for participation).

Notably, to facilitate setting up the initial composition, Epoq, the acting administrator of Die2Nite among other MT games, had prematurely implemented the mechanic of Private Towns that had not seen other uses yet (due to the lack of players who have the Architect skill unlocked). To aid with score accounting and town comparisons, SinSniper had set up a special extension to Oval Office.

Even though Workshop had been organising the overall event, every town was managed by certain players before the start, dubbed town founders.
