Corpses are the remains of dead citizens. If a citizen is outside when they die, they are not a problem, and will also produce a
Meaty Bone in the zone they died in. However, if they are inside, when the attack comes, they will become a zombie and attack the town. As they are inside the walls, they will do extra damage, and can terrorise and kill citizens, even if the town defense is high enough to ward off the normal attack. Corpses are not affected by citizen's house defence

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THIS CORPSE? (Citizen), dead though they are, there is a good chance that their body could be contaminated by infectious agents from (Town name). Therefore the corpse has to be watered or thrown out before it gets back up and attacks its fellow former citizens this very evening...
Citizen's list text:
- (Citizen's) corpse has not been destroyed. It's entirely possible that it'll decide to wake up and eat you alive tonight.
- The way (Player who disposed of the corpse) got rid of the lifeless body of (citizen) was pretty disgusting...
There are 3 ways to remove corpses.
- - Use a
Water Ration to neutralise the corpse. - - Drag them out of town (requires 2
and they will join the horde every night. Citizens that die outside will also be in the horde).) - - Put them into the
Cremato-Cue (requires the
Cremato-Cue being built). Will produce 4x
Human Flesh.
It is recommended to drag the body out of town or use the
Cremato-Cue, if built. Sprinkling the corpse uses a valuable water ration.
There is a Distinction for performing each of the above three actions.
Sprinkler,
Removals,
Extreme BBQ Chef.
