Control Points are used to determine who has control over a zone in the World Beyond.

Each zombie in a zone generates 1 CP; each human in a zone generates 2. If you are Status terror.gifStatus terror.gifTerrified Terrorised, you generate 0 CP (even if you have 1 of the following CP boosters). If Human CPs are equal to or more than zombie CPs, humans will control the zone; otherwise, any and all humans are trapped.

There are a number of ways to increase your control points beyond 2, to a maximum of 7:
