Creating a coalition
A player can create a coalition on their
Soul page. Once created invitations can be sent to friends who then have the choice whether to accept or refuse the request.
Once players have joined the coalition, they can chat amongst themselves in their own personal shoutbox. This is found under the coalition tab on their soul page.
It is also possible to leave a coalition at any point. The creator of the coalition can also dissolve the coalition entirely, simply by removing themselves from the coalition. You cannot remove other members individually from your coalition only dissolve it entirely.
In order to stop multiple account abuse you cannot join a coalition with more than one character.
Coalitions are permanent. Even if your character dies every day, they will still be part of their coalition.
Advantages of coalitions
Coalitions enable groups of like minded individuals to coordinate upgrade projects, get people shunned and privately insult fellow players.
Coalitions are normally formed when groups with similar backgrounds join the game. Other factions expand as they encounter survivors who are competent or share similar playing styles.
Another advantage to coalitions is the ability of players with more than 100 soul points can "drag" new coalition players into cities in distant towns.
Coalition Anonymity
Coalitions are entirely private. Unless you disclose their membership to others, there is no way other can confirm you are in a coalition.
Coalition Options
Apart from deciding whether you wish to leave a coalition your other option is your availability.
This decides whether you jump into new towns with other coalition members. It can be set to ready or unavailable.
ready
If another member of your coalition joins a town, you will follow them and start in the same town.
If you don't want to join to automatically join a game when another member of your coalition joins a town.
You cannot join a new town if;
- You are still alive in another town.
- You haven't confirmed your death in a previous town.
- There are more available members of your coalition than spaces in the town.
