| When added to water, these disinfectant capsules make water safe to drink. These were previously used for cleaning toilets. You start to imagine how the water is going to taste afterwards... (NOTE: The yield of this product is much lower than that of the Industrial Purifier). | |

Up until Season 2, using water purifying tablets was always a bad idea - a 
Full Jerrycan would yield many more rations if you purified it using the Water Purifier, a building that can be constructed after the 
Pump has been completed.
However, with the advent of Season 3, both Water Purifier and the tablets have been downgraded. Water Purifier generates 1-3 rations of water (verified) and tablets generate 2-3 rations of water now (See test results).

Water Purifying Tablets do give you the water rations directly whereas Water Purifier adds them to The Well. - Water Purifying Tablets are not usable in town, when Water Purifier is built. However, they can still be used outside of town on Stagnant Water Can to give Purified Stagnant Water.
- Water Purifying Tablets do **NOT** work on Full Jerrycan outside of town.
