Dehydration is a dangerous status when in the desert. When Thirst is left untreated for too long, a Citizen will become Dehydrated, which puts them on Death's Door.
Cause
- Dehydration is encountered any time a Citizen goes to sleep
Thirsty, while not also
Refreshed. - Thirst may also be aggravated into Dehydration through prolonged desert exposure (travelling through 11 zones.)
Effect
- If a citizen goes to sleep Dehydrated, they will die that night.
- Continuing to stagger through 11 desert zones while Dehydrated will also result in their death.
Removal
- Taking
Hydratone 100mg will upgrade the
Dehydrated! status to
Thirsty, and also adds the
Drugged status. - Drinking a
Water Ration will upgrade the
Dehydrated! status to
Thirsty
- Note: The
Water Ration will not recover any AP if it is drunk while
Dehydrated! - It will give the message: "You greedily gulp down your ration of water, without tasting it in the least... Your throat still burns as much, but at least you aren't dehydrated anymore..."
