A [[Citizen]] becomes {{MetaInline|Drunk}} when they drink an entire bottle of [[Food#Alcohol|Liquor]] in one draw. Try this at home, kids!

==Effect==
* Searching and fighting zombies barehanded will be significantly penalized.
**Text: ''Your sobriety, or lack thereof, is quite inconvenient. Things become pretty tricky pretty quickly when you're completely wasted...''
* Notes intended for one [[Citizen]] may accidentally be sent to another.
** Any notes will be subject to slurred, babbling interjections too.
* Any posts made on the [[Forum]] may be subject to slurred, babbling interjections. These posts cannot be edited.
** Editing an existing post (which was posted before drunk) will also be subject to the system alteration.
* While a [[Citizen]] is {{MetaInline|Drunk}}, they cannot drink any more [[Food#Alcohol|Alcohol]].
* If you apply as a {{MetaInline|Watchmen}}, you get a 20 bonus defense and 4% more survival chance.
==Removal==
* At [[midnight]], it disappears and is replaced by a {{MetaInline|Hangover}}
* Can be removed by a {{MetaInline|Shaman}}'s Healing ability.

==Work Around==
*Before, you can post messages normally on forum if you put 2 spaces between words; however, this no longer works as of the Twinoid Merge in the 20th of February, as Twinoid removes double spaces with an anti-spam system.
*It is still possible to get a complete message across by repeating the same message 3 or more times in one post (preferably with a clear line/break between each), allowing citizens to combine parts of each message to get the whole message.
* You may also send your message via Twinoid Private Message system (not the Die2Nite town messaging system). It will not subject to any system alternation in this way.
